SmartLever Solutions Launches AI Automation Platform as Field Service Businesses Grapple with Rising Office Costs

Sacramento, CA — Field service businesses nationwide are growing faster than their office teams can keep up with. SmartLever Solutions, a Sacramento-based company founded in November 2025, is launching its AI automation platform to give HVAC, electrical, plumbing, restoration, cleaning, pest control, landscaping, and other field service companies a way to cut office overhead without hiring additional staff or adopting a new software tool to manage themselves.

SmartLever started as a custom development shop, building custom, one-off applications and automations for individual clients. That hands-on work led them to find the same bottlenecks across nearly every field service business they worked with, which led the company to build those solutions into a single platform. SmartLever builds AI automations that integrate with a client’s existing software, and everything is hosted on one platform where the client edits and approves critical actions while getting reporting on their productivity and profitability. The company manages and evolves the automations as the business changes, taking responsibility for the outcome and results.

The founding team pairs hands-on AI and automation experience with field service industry research. DuPree brings a background in AI automation, software engineering, and platform support, and is in his last semester of an MBA at Sacramento State. He co-founded SmartLever with Jacob Squires, whom he met through the 2026 Sacramento Entrepreneurship Academy, where the team won Best in Showcase and Best Business Plan.
